Well, it's pretty much official. After my first face-to-face meeting with HR yesterday morning, my target last day of work will be December 31, 2023 (unless, of course, they throw a fistful of money at me to stay a little longer - highly unlikely.) What's a person to do?

Date: 2023-05-26 01:42 pm (UTC)I'm a Little apprehensive, but I really think I'm ready to finally call it quits.
It's has been getting more and more difficult to handle working to the wee hours some weekends. I've been getting more and more nervous with each successive software update and the scheduling.
I think that when I finally hit 70 in November, and with 30 years of service under my belt, it's safe to say enough is enough.
