Personal Commentary/Observation
I have this weird feeling running through my head again. No exactly depressed, but sort of aimless? Directionless? It's not that I don't have anything to do, work-wise, it's just that there is an end kind of in sight, but I don't know what comes after? I know something is off in my head 'cause I paused everything and I picked up one of my comfort-reads, Becky Chambers' A Psalm For the Wild-Built, to re-read ... yet again. It is such an uplifting story, and the most I've ever spent on a hardback book of such diminutive length. Ah - I should say books because I bought the sequel as well. They are just that good. When I read them enough times, I get re-inspired? Re-energized? I don't know - something. It eventually brings me back out of this grey funk. I dread the day when this process fails.
