Lila Lea Gimm Blake, 73, a homemaker, died Monday, May 7, 2007.
Funeral: Private family services were conducted Tuesday, followed by a private interment.
Memorials: Her memory may be honored with a gift to Shriners Hospitals for Children, in care of Moslah Temple, P.O. Box 1320, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Lila Lea was born Sept. 4, 1933, in Williamsburg, Iowa, to the late Claus and Alice Querl Gimm. She met and married James Blake while serving in the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Garnetta, and her first-born son, Robert.
Survivors: Her husband, James; sons, Robert II and his wife, Joyce, Richard and his wife, Kathryn, James Jr. and his wife, Linda; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and nieces and nephews.
