Thanksgiving Meme

I've been following Branwynelf's postings today. I wish that I could come up with a T-Giving Meme and stay within the rules, but I can't. I have too many on-line friends that I'm thankful for. I can't name them all; I can't single any one out; I can't say enough about each one. So ...

Started by Rick Le Mon years ago, I am thankful for the Tamson House Mailing List as this was a source of a great many happy memories and an even finer group of on-line friends scattered around the world from North America to Europe to Africa to Oz. I am thankful I was invited to participate at its inception. I am thankful that so many fine people came and went through all those years. I am thankful that through it I got to meet such noted celebrities as author Charles de Lint, his lovely wife MaryAnn, and yes, the infamous Penn Dinsdale Snetterton Esquire. I am thankful for all the wonderful reading and musical suggestions that people made, helping me to broaden my knowledge and experience. And - I am thankful that I was allowed to follow you all into realm of Live Journal.

Therefore, my warmest and most heartfelt best wishes go out to all of my Tamson House friends (current members and EXE's alike). Happy Thanksgiving Holiday (whether you celebrate it or no.)

I, too, am thankful for the Tamson House and all the friends I found there. You all helped me go from a naive and precocious 17-year-old to the still-growing, but ultimately decent person I am today :)
