The only down side to the day was that J. had told me a week ago that in gratitude for going above and beyond where her t sons were concerned ... in honor of my birthday I didn't have to make my regular bi-monthly run to the prison unit in Hutchins Sat. morning or the run to the Denton County Jail Sat. night. But, she got a call from her oldest, so I ended up driving the two of us over to Denton County anyway Sat. night.
