The weather has suddenly turned gorgeous the past 2 days, daffodils everywhere - nature giving me a great present indeed!

We had a rather lively night last night as the cold front swung through and peppered various portions along the wall-cloud with dime to golf-ball-sized hail. Luckily, we were spared that where we were - just an intense downpour and plenty of lightning.

This morning, however, dawned absolutely crystal clear - a stark blue sky and not a single cloud to mar it. Although it is cooler today than the usual Texas spring day, the rest of this week and into next week look to be very sweet indeed, with tempt in the low to mid-80's and a very minor chance of scattered showers the middle of next week - if we even get that.

Glad you had such a pretty day for your birthday ... and the daffodils.
